Hi, I'm Amber! The lady behind the lens.

While you may not see much of me or my face in the images I share online, I promise that is not the case in real life. I am a PEOPLE PERSON! I enjoy getting to know others, hearing about their lives, swapping stories, laughing together, and making every moment joyful and genuine. In my mind, what I do here is all about connecting and creating. From the very first inquiry, I want people to feel welcome and comfortable, to know they can ask questions and share ideas. I send a questionnaire to each client right away so I can learn about them and what they are wanting from their session. I want each person to feel seen, heard, included, and valued each step of the way. We are in this together, and together, we will create magic!

That being said, let me get our connection started by sharing a bit about myself. I am a "wifey" of 10 years, a "mommy" of two boys, a teacher turned stay-at-home mom, a world traveler, a homebody, a cake decorator, a board game enthusiast, a serious foodie, a lover of fuzzy blankets, comfy pjs, good books and movies. Surely there's a mutual interest in there somewhere!

But goodness... can you really sum up a person in a paragraph? I'm telling you... I have a truly dynamic story. From a life I would not wish on anyone to a life I always dreamed of. One thing I've learned through all those highs and lows is that beauty can be found in everything.

I've always been the type of person to look for the light, even when it's hiding behind dark clouds. And I've always been the type of person to deeply appreciate every good thing and every fleeting moment I'm given. I think those things have shaped a lot of my life and are even a big part of what led me to photography. I love finding the light and the beauty in every moment and holding on to it. Life is so short. Nothing is promised. Memory fades. But a picture... a picture lets us preserve the people we love and the moments we hold dear. Truly, the pictures I have of me and the people I love are some of my greatest treasures. And it brings me such joy to create those priceless treasures for others.

Yes, there's definitely something about capturing light and love and laughter and creating beautiful, vibrant images that really just feeds my artistic soul. But for me, photography is way more than that. After my children are asleep and I begin working into the late hours of the night editing photos of sweet babies, excited seniors, loving couples, and happy families, I know that what I'm creating is also going to warm the hearts and touch the souls of others for years and years to come. That, my friends, is exactly why I'm here. And I'm so excited that you're here too. I can't wait to get to know you, to hear about the people and things you love, to capture the beauty of both your special moments and your everyday life, and then hand those images over to you so you can cherish them forever.
